Dawg83 Posted 8 hours ago Author Share Posted 8 hours ago I did not really get to watch the OM-Florida game, will have to catch up on it the next few days, but man, the “letdown game” hype with that one forever more played out, didn’t it? Big win for State finding a way to get it done late. I thought they were in deep trouble at the end of the 3rd quarter. But closed the game really well and made a lot of clutch plays down the stretch. Kamario, Fluff, and Anthony Evans are STUDS. Just playing outstanding football to this point. Tough outing for Ole Miss. Tough loss for USM but I think you have to feel better about them. Had the lead in the fourth quarter just couldn’t hold it. Bulldogs4 Posted 7 hours ago Share Posted 7 hours ago I have mentioned this before. Our defense is just so much better this year. Not perfect by any means but our tackling is light years better. Missouri was very physical and we were up to the task. Hate that we have so many injuries but unfortunately that is part of the travails of football. Mizzou was working State’s defense until that point. It’s almost like the holding call on Mizzou to start the 4th woke State’s defense up and they played very well after that.
