TheRadioGuy Posted August 31 Share Posted August 31 Setting up a running thread for the season to drop the weekly episodes of the Varsity Voices podcast (State Championships Radio Network). They do two shows a week throughout the high school football season: Sunday Night / Monday Morning: Full weekend recap of Friday night action across the state. Mid-Week (Wednesday): Game previews, key matchups, and storylines for the upcoming week. Since these are recorded live, I’ll post the links in this thread as soon as they drop each week. Wesson has never even played Heidelberg in 2A. They definitely didn’t play them last year. Wesson lost to Mize last year. They do know a good bit about all classifications though. More so than the majority of the podcasts out there. I listened to them all last year and so far this year, and they do a good job 1a-7a. In the MSGridiron preseason rankings and coverage, they had one of our players as one of the top defensive linemen to watch in the state, and he isn’t even in school anymore. He hasn’t been in school since Christmas break of last year. And they still had him mentioned as one of our best players in their write up last week with our game against PCS.
