pancho Posted July 19 Share Posted July 19 I mean tupelo would have to be really stupid for neaves to get on to them. kinda like what happened with the williams qb when he transferred from Nettleton. Kid missed nearly all of the first year and then missed several games in alternative school last year due to fighting a teammate in the jamboree. He was also a mental case and almost not coachable at times. I think Tupelo is being very careful in the current transfer environment now. Way it sounded was it’d be pretty dumb and blatant for him to punish him. Wasn’t Williams kid ineligible because he transferred after July 1st? Also heard the parents appealed. Supposedly in the appeal he was again ruled ineligible because of recruiting violations by Tupelo. Will be interesting to see if so and if anything will come of it. I believe tupelo and oxford have lots of talent in the local area. And their is plenty of talent in the petal oak grove hattiesburg area as well.
