Happens some but those kids rely on travel ball to get recruited and high school isn't as big of a priority. Just as big an issue there as well. There’s a small school in north that would not have enough to field a team some years that recruited a state champion. Multiple coaches from different programs submitted evidence and MHSAA swept it under a rug because a big rig at mhsaa was an alum or has dome tie to the school.
