I couldn’t see them both staying after one gets picked as interim over the other. Golding probably has the biggest salary to be giving up. As nasty as this is already, I imagine those crazy bastards on X will lose their mind if OM loses the first round game, maybe even if they drop to a non host spot (which I don’t think will happen). This has been very unexpected. I know the pay means a lot to the assistants, but the opportunity to coach an 11-1 team in the playoffs is a dream come true. Let’s not pretend though that Kiffin didn’t make OM what it is. They have boosters who will support and give a bunch of money to the program, but Kiffin was the key. Now they practically hired a coordinator to be the head guy after we heard all week how Sumrall was dying to get the job, but they’d settle for Golesh. I mean I’m a sports fan but I’ve never let it cause me to go psycho like some of these folks are doing. OAN: I’m a one of a kind Ole Miss fan because I’m probably the only one that also roots for LSU on the side instead of saying GTHLSU because my dad went there, most of my family lives in LA, my cousin Jacob Hester played for them and I lived a good bit of my life in LA and was brought up a LSU fan. I pretty much became an Ole Miss fan 10 years ago when I moved to Oxford. You can occasionally see me strolling through the square with something LSU on getting the stink eye from folks.
