Dubaction
I haven’t watched Goula at all this year… but it seems like their non district schedule has them prepared for this part of the season. 4 of their 5 losses are to the 4 7a coast playoff teams , with another close loss to Picayune who’s always good. They’ve boat raced everyone else for the past month. Should be a good game between two hot teams.

Amarie Jackson was injured in that game and didn’t return until after the Picayune game.

I really quit keeping up with them after the Picayune game . I didn’t know they had regressed. I came away thinking Lewis needed to turn him loose running the ball with him some. Lacey can get his first interaction with Sims. I picture him welcoming him by handing him a ash covered box of that assorted valentine chocolates that has a expiration date of 2023 .. Every time they see each other in the future Sims will ask him how did he like the knot holding the bow on it. I do not know if regressed is how I would describe his play. I just looked at his numbers from MaxPreps and since region play began, he has thrown for 984 yards (164 yard per game avg.) with 10 passing touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 60% completion rate with a 105 QBR. These numbers are coupled with Amarie Jackson rushing for 963 yards (160.5 per game avg.) and 13 rushing touchdowns and Sean Norvel rushing for 485 yards (80.8 yard per game avg.) and 6 rushing touchdowns. Both teams are scoring about the same rate and defenses are stopping at about the same rate. I think it will be a great game between two really good ball clubs. Last week was the first time they've been tested since Picayune (most of the region was pure garbage and they ended the season with an easy slate of opponents) and the offense struggled for the first time in weeks. But moving Loper to QB saved the season with the presumed starter not playing well and then being injured.

Bound to have an off night after playing at a really high level for a month or so and to still come out with a 41-7 win. Have to be somewhat pleased with that. I don't thing Goula has anything to worry about. They just need to focus on being the best Goula they can be come Friday night.

The defense scored two TDs. Terry's QB overthrew two TDs and one of the defensive scores was a pick six (another bad throw) as time expired in the first half. It was not easy sledding for three quarters for the Pascagoula offense.

I thought they were better than those scores. Like I said I quit paying attention. Looking now i see they are on a roll. This game is even. Has Pasc used the tight end much. ? Sims loves ambush opposition with something they haven't shown yet.

Not sure overall how much they throw to them but they ran a ton of tight end sets vs. us.

I am sure the new HHS staff has gone back to watch Goula games from years past.

There may be a designated TE but they don't have really have a TE in the physical sense and haven't thrown to him hardly at all since Brewer came onboard. In 2 and 3 wideout sets, the TE is pass protector.

The back end is the strength. The front seven is undersized and was pushed around by the better offensive lines. Terry moved the ball on the ground but couldn't finish drives. State or GA. Southern.

Terry mistakes and couldn't score shift the momentum

Is this the same ones that did South State last season I would not be surprised if a couple of them are at HHS tomorrow night. Normally officiating crews are not the same individuals every week. At Hattiesburg we had the same white hat official twice this season. But he had an entirely different crew the 2nd time he was there. And when I went to a couple Friday games when HHS played on Thursdays I recognized black hat officials who had been to HHS but other crew members had not been to HHS.
