I'm just excited that we about see some football !!!! I saw Mize played against JDC and they was able to move the ball, defense needs a little tight'en but majority they go pretty good as better offense than last year!!! #6 is not the player Mize have ! You going to have a pretty good defense to stop them. Mize defense line is pretty stout on offense and defense. Mize also gave up a long touchdown pass on 4th and long that should have never happened. Both teams also had some defensive starters that were not playing. All in all, it was a good matchup. Taylorsville has some cleaning up to do on offense, but they will shut down opposing offenses. Mize and NF is an even match up, NF will have more athletes, I’ll give them the edge. North Forrest was dominated by Stringer in the spring game basically. 14-0 and offense had trouble moving the ball. They also only have 19-20 players I saw so no depth whatsoever. Mize should dominate North Forrest IMO. Also, while Taylorsville’s defense looks to be improved, it is still not good enough to completely shut down opposing team’s offense. I have always theorized it was somebody on Mize's staff doing it, but I could be wrong. But, sure seemed like it was a coach that was going on here, smack talking specific players, then pressing print and posting it in their lockers. If not a coach, it was a fan/booster closely associated with the team. Then, he didn't log in for months after that game. He got started back up around playoff time but nothing to the extent of earlier in the season. But, like you said, I would support it too. Full pads are allowed this week. Some teams went full pads last week in week 2, which you aren’t supposed to do.
