A win over Clarkdale is possible. But Heidleburg and Bay Springs is doubtful. Possibility for 3rd in the district if you beat Clarkdale plus Mize but I believe a one or two seed is out of the question. Bay Springs will have to fall a part not to be the two seed, and Heidleburg is loaded again.

Fall apart? They may not even be the favorite against Mize. I could see thinking BS is the favorite, but to have to fall apart? Nah. If anything it’s a toss up.

I also agree with that statement. They have not been as good as they have in years past but athlete for athlete they are more talented than Enterprise so that is why I think they would still win that game.

The last three times Enterprise beat Bay Springs coaching and discipline helped Enterprise win over Bay Springs superior athleticism.

It is hard to believe that a Brady Bay Springs was undisciplined and he got out coached. Not when he was winning state championships. In the last 6 times Enterprise has played Bay Springs, the record is 3-3 (according to MaxPreps). Two games Bay Springs beat Enterprise by more than 30 points, and Enterprise never won a game in blow out fashion even when Bay Springs was 2-6 in 2020. So I would say it is a toss up.

Enterprise beat Bay Springs 44-40 in 2016; 36-22 in 2019 and 18-6 in 2020; the game in 2020 would have been a blowout but it was stopped by lengthy lighting delay; Enterprise was up 18-0 at halftime and should have scored at least 2 more TDs.

Exactly, and Enterprise also lost 48-14 in 2017, 57-14 in 2018, and 27-22 in 2015. What do you have to say about those?? You are 3-3 in the last six meetings. You talk about the winning, narrowly I might add, but you have also been blown out. The 2020 game, again, Bay Springs was 2-6 and it was COVID year.

I was at practice yesterday and counted 36 players; in 2022 we had 55 players; in 2023 46 and we had 39 last year. I heard Lake has 59 players; I dont like the way our numbers are trending.  Depth could be a problem this year.

You were a 3A then, now you are a 2A. 35-45 players on the roster is pretty average. And I doubt Lake has 59 players.

Dont matter I expect Enterprise to win a close game at Bay Springs in 2025.

Only way Enterprise wins is if they play ball control, but I think Bay Springs defense will be too good for that to occur. Enterprise may be well coached and a fundamentally sound football team, but the talent is trending down for sure. I just think Bay Springs will have too much speed for Enterprise to keep up with. Enterprise would have to play almost perfect to pull off a win especially with it being on the road. Not saying it’s impossible, but it will be tough to pull off for sure.

But it would matter if the record was in your favor but it is not. You know Enterprise does not have the athletes Bay Springs does so you are trying to justify something you cannot. I believe Enterprise is a well coached team and fundamentally sound team but athletically it leans to Bay Springs.

I bet Coach was proud to see you.   He knows you bring a lot of knowledge to the game.

Could be between two to six wins IMO. More than six then they'll def be a 2nd round contender. Hedging bets, I'd say a 4-5 win regular season and out in the first round.

Good coach and always solid as they can be, so you never know.  They can turn up some unexpected outcomes
