I have heard through the grapevine that a lot of Center Hill’s talent was leaving if he stayed. Have heard their RB has already transferred. Might as well have hired from within. For a program like that I would've went hunting for a young up and coming guy. There are plenty of successful programs in the area that they could've poached a coordinator or assistant from.

Tough to poach a up and coming coordinator if he knows their talent is down and the division is already tough.

Believe Courtney at Magee was the first choice, Worrell was 2nd from what I understand. But either way, it sounds like a less than desirable job unless someone just WANTS to be a HC. The AD spot may have had something to do with it too.

Their first choice was Magee’s head coach. They offered him the job, but he eventually turned it down. I was a little surprised he did. Closer to home for him and more money. But I guess he knew wins would be really scarce at Puckett.

They definitely need to at least be in the wing-t or double wing. They don’t have the athletes to run a spread, IMO. Probably undersized on the OL as well
Rebel Bert
Puckett is young, undersized on both lines. They are truly a 1A talent maybe small school MAIS in a 2A Class. They couldn't stop the wing t, wing t passing game or even open holes for their really small running backs. I don’t believe they have had a blocking scheme since Lennis Steven's retired. Small school in MAIS 2A was 8 man. Now, in the new MAIS classification, equivalent to Discovery Christian which has about 100 HS aged students. Puckett is in no way that untalented.
