I think Morton should be added to the dark horse conversation as well. They will be very young but talented this year and will compete in 4A south. 2024 and 2025 should be the years they make real noise.

For the last like 8 years I see all this talk of Holmes Central having d1 talent and a legit threat to win it all.  And every year they are 3rd or 4th in division and take a first round playoff exit.

Coaching makes a difference. All that talent and Rogers has won only 1 playoff game at Holmes.

I wouldn't be so quick to etch that in stone.  I appreciate your confidence, but Picayune needs to stay healthy.  If Picayune can stay healthy, then they can surely keep the train moving.  The Mount Everest of a non-district schedule should have The Tide ready for the post season, but I'm not ready to make any predictions one way or the other just yet.  I'd like to see some football games first LOL!
