I have to agree with Holmes central. Saw them beat OB like a drum in the spring game. That DE they have is the truth.

Big news coming out of Cleveland central soon from what I’ve heard around the town. Woodard is still the HC but they picked up a new assistant that’s going to help the team improve drastically. Excited for the upcoming Wolfpack season!

They also aren’t listed on the MAIS reclassification for ‘23.

They are moving to 11 man next season so I guess we shall see.

Brian Dendy needs a nod as well. Manchester is always a force year in and year out.

Yea my original intentions with this thread aren’t what has occurred from it. With respect to Coach Smither, Coach Woodard, and others named or involved I am deleting this thread.

New DC. New scheme. Bunch of new guys on defense. Not pinning all the blame on the DC but there were growing pains. I mean they lost a ton of seniors they had to replace.

CC had a new DC as well his second year

Kid was not ready to play. Yea sure he was upset and wanted to play but why would you risk hurting the kids future in basketball. You don’t know as much as you think either.

He didn’t play KJ due to a high ankle sprain.. shows how little y’all know.

And why is that? Beamon would thrive under Smither more than he is now. Plus in my opinion the job was wrongly taken from Smither. Would have loved to see where the program would be at now if he didn’t get let go for a bogus accusation.

I mean I’m not trying to. Atleast get a better offensive and defensive coordinator in there. Again with all that talent they have running around they should atleast be over .500. Kinda curious to see how it’ll play out though since the school district did get a new superintendent

Not that I’m aware of. They need to change staff though. 5-7 with the Beamon kid and the WRs they had? No excuse.

Any word on what Cleveland central is going to do coaching wise? No excuse for a team with that talent to be under .500

Tunica beats Tallulah by 30+. Tunica is by far the best team in 8 man this year.

NSA didn’t recruit anyone. Kids flooded in to play for Coach Smither. There’s about to be trouble for the next coach fielding a team because the word is a bunch of players are leaving NSA due to what the admin did to the coaching staff. Don’t see how NSA can replace the success they had under Smither and his staff.

Yes not denying that. He does teach at Cleveland central now but was going to fulfill out his time coaching the team at NSA for at least one more season.

No idea. Couldn’t figure it out either. But I just know that what that staff has done in 3 years is nothing short of amazing. Taking a team that only averaged 2-3 wins a year and building them up to where they’ve had back to back trips to the semi finals and ultimately changed the culture of a losing program. I have no idea what the leaders at NSA thought when they made this call.
