GulfCoastBall
Anyone know what is going to happen with Moss Point? Will Coach Bridges be permanent or will they post the job to see what is out there?
coastfootballfanman
It is hard to imagine them turning it over to him full time after an 0-9 season. He is also the head baseball coach for Moss Point as well. I imagine they will open it up. The problem will be finding someone to really want the job. They are losing a good bit off this team I believe so talent pool will probably be way down.

I don't see them giving it to him unless A) they have no interest from anyone else or B) they ask him to give up baseball to focus on football. i wish the best for them. I think a committed coach could make an impact there

I'm hoping Pascagoula stops playing them because the games are so lopsided and we gain nothing from skull-dragging them.
GCWildcatFan
This could be a good job for Lane Brady. It’s a resume building job. Might be a good fit

Gulfcoastdevil75
IMO Moss Point needs a veteran head coach.
Archer
Curious to see the enrollment number forthcoming. They will be on the doorstep of 3A and probably will drop by the next count.

Talent pool is dry. Best players from this team were seniors and now gone. School population is dropping. Bad part is dropping to 3A on next count doesn’t help them a ton either. Will still be tough to make playoffs and if they do, have some really great teams waiting for them. Moss Point has fallen off a cliff and I do not know if they can recover. Woefully small rosters, no depth, no interest from decent coaches, and the city is in severe decline with Jackson County overtaking many of their city services. It's a remarkable story for all the wrong reasons.

CrimsonUnit1988
In the past 152 games Moss Point is 56-96. The 258 games prior to that they were 192-66. Pretty stark difference. Also in that 258 game stretch MP had two HCs. The most recent 152 games, SIX HCs.

Lane Brady quickly becoming a name that pops up on every search or is that just a joke that's running on here?

It is a joke in my eyes. His only coastal ties are to Long Beach where they were awful. I am sure he is a great man and does a good job as a coach. However, nothing on his resume says he is HFC material.
