Just about everywhere he has been. He has severe anger problems from what I have come to understand. He was fired from Franklin County after the Fall Jamboree, Magee (his alma mater) for getting into it with admin and supposedly about fighting in a bar in Jackson, Scott Central for Threatening to hit either a player, official, or fellow teacher, cannot remember, and Vicksburg coach let him go because he was too much of a hot head to work under someone. All of that is speculation from my end because I wasn't actually there, but from a reliable source that's what I have heard on the guy.

He has to be canned after that. And don’t know who would hire him after that.

If he resigns and they don’t “let him out of his contract”, the state suspends his license so he CAN’T get a job teaching elsewhere. That needs to be changed.

Not at all. It means you can’t coach your sons team, and recruit one of the kids on his team to come to your school to play for you. You can’t use independent teams to recruit players towards your school. Which AAU and travel ball has been used for this for several years.

Basically, the AD and the HC has been coaching AAU teams and used it as a tool to recruit kids to their schools. Which via MHSAA it’s illegal. And it’s also what most baseball coaches in HS do now. Coach a 15/16u travel team and then get the best kids on their team to come to their school.

Tupelo Christian is open. Coach and AD got busted for recruiting violations and have both been fired.
