I really don’t know who has the hardest route cuz with those five teams that have been mentioned in the north/south, there’s still teams like Mize, Heidelberg, Leflore County and NorthSide plus a couple others that makes both sides very tough come playoff time. Like @Chunky6617said couple weeks ago, this is the most competitive 2A has been in a long time. Also I don’t think any north team is underestimating Raleigh and Bay Springs since that’s all they’ve read and heard about all year.
-
I’m thinking yes because the last few years the lower classifications have finished on Thursday nights.
-
That’s what I thought but I’m seeing some played on Friday night. Every site even has y’all playing Friday night.
-
I know it’s cliche but I think homefield advantage will be huge with those three teams. Originally being from the Delta I know how hard it is to win in the playoffs at Charleston and got to see firsthand how hard it is to win at the Boneyard.
-
No prob man. Hard to look past a team like Charleston who went through the hardest schedule in 2A at 7-2. There’s not a team in 2A who would’ve beat Ripley and Winona who are combined 18-0. Plus y’all have 2 wins over 5A teams and that Clarksdale win is looking better each week.
-
I wouldn’t exactly underestimate what the north has this year.

The Ashmore kid #50 looks like a real good player on the defensive side of the ball as well. He’s made plays in every clip I’ve seen of Wesson. He’s got some size on him and moves quick.
-
I know a lot of folks were doubting them to start the year since Loy graduated but they’ve been getting some solid play at the QB position which has helped a lot.
-
Simmons is a very good team that people have kinda slept on and ignored this year but my biggest question with them is how can they respond against adversity because their schedule hasn’t been very tough at this point. South playoffs will be fun to watch when it comes down to the final four. Biggersville should walk through the north because they’ve already faced their toughest 1A opponent up here.
-
The biggest game I see is Baldwyn @ TCP. This game will determine the 2 seed in Region 1 causing a different playoff path for the winner/loser.
-
You can tell all he did was go on SBLive and look at stats and sizes.
-
Give some examples of why Enterprise matches up well with South Pike. Break down what South Pike does defensively and offensively. Which games did you watch of South Pike’s? My guess is you’re just going off scores as usual without actually have seen South Pike play a down. Also, let’s not forget in one of those games you mention above which was on the road there was a running clock going in the 2nd quarter.
-
I remember going into the playoffs last year EBF was adamant that Enterprise wouldn’t lose to Magee because it was a home game and Enterprise was a different team at home. Well South Pike is currently 4-0 at home this year.

I was in Lake Village yesterday and there were multiple St. Joe billboards throughout the city.

Very good question
-
Velma Jackson 73 French Camp 7 Final They improve to 8-0 and now have outscored their opponents 407-25 on the year.
-
Well they beat Cleveland Central 20-13 tonight.
-
Charleston 32 NorthSide 6 Final
-
Choctaw County 39 Nettleton 20 Final
-
Ripley 14 Amory 10 Final
-
And it’s crazy because there’s this part in the 8 parts of admissions to GCS. 5. Disciplinary record from previous school year.
-
I was too. Clarksdale had beaten them 44-6 a few weeks ago and I was kinda expecting the same kind of result.
-
To take the talk off of WP for a lil bit, I’ll bring Holmes County up. I’m still not sold on them. They give off 2017 Cleveland Central vibes where they went into the playoffs undefeated. Fans were saying “We Want West Point” and then ended up being upset in the first round by Lake Cormorant. I still look back at Holmes’ game against Florence where their defense which is suppose to be their strength was lit up and barely escaped 42-40. I wanna see how they do when they have back to back tough opponents because as of now their schedule hasn’t been that tough.
