What kind of numbers did Perry Central, Richton, and St. Patrick turn in?

You got a link to all those numbers? or at least for 2A and 1A?

Raleigh I think turned in 281 for enrollment and is supposed to be dropping to 2A. I’m interested to see what schools like Forest, Enterprise Clarke, Union, and Wesson turned in for enrollment.

Mendenhall and Simpson central already both play junior high games at mendenhall, as does the mendenhall youth football team. Magee’s youth team and junior high will probably have to make some adjustments. It shouldn’t be a big problem

Hillman wants to consolidate. He always has. We will be getting rid of him though. He’s probably the most despised man in smith county. They have tried to consolidate for years, but it’s not likely to ever happen.

They can’t play their games at Magee because Magee has a stadium capacity to hold at best the numbers of a 4A program. Simpson county will be a 6A school. The problem is that a lot of people who voted “no” on the bond issue thought that it would prevent the schools from consolidating. They were wrong, the consolidation is a done deal. All these voters did was deny the new school on campus facilities.

It’s going to happen eventually. Collins and mount olive facilities are in rough shape. They will never spend the money to update both schools.

I’m going to say they continue to lose kids. Mize will be the biggest school in the county soon.

Taylorsville will do good in 1A, and it’s good they moved down there now. Because they aren’t what they once were anymore. But they will still compete for championships in 1A. The 2A classification looks to be loaded coming up

So who all will be where next year? Only significant news I have heard is that Raleigh is moving down to 2A

Bay springs won’t be as good as last year. But they will still be good enough

I have heard Collins and Mount Olive are consolidating? Can anybody confirm this?

Uh, is Scott central supposed to be a passing team or something?

I don’t think the whole county has to be consolidated. Taylorsville north can go to Raleigh and taylorsville south can go the Mize. Still a few years away though I think

They got pushed to 1A because they are 1A. They have lost a lot of students over the years, much like taylorsville. Matter or fact, in 10 years taylorsville won’t even have a school anymore.

Wow. What awful coverage by Madison central there. Lol. Touchdown Brandon

Man Brandon blew this opportunity. Holding penalty killed them

I remember coaching against #25 for Bay Springs when he was in youth football. I didn’t know his name was Malachi, all his coaches called him Daylin. He’s going to be really good.

Simmons had a punt return for a touchdown, and one long touchdown run. That’s it. Bay Springs dominated the 2nd half, and was clearly the best team.

There is a difference between 1A south and 1A north.

Bay springs is better than Simmons. Simmons has had two plays all day, both for touchdowns

I have seen this script 100 times.

Perfect play call on that touchdown. Unbalanced heavy on the right. You have to be thinking Jones off tackle, but the inside handoff to the little fullback scores. Nice play call

I really wish these announcers would just announce the game that’s in front of them and stop with the “football” talk. Just announce the game.

Crucial turnover right there. BS driving down the field and fumble…. Simmons needed that. Can’t do that if you are BS though. That was crucial
