Magee hasn’t played anybody either. And the good teams they played kind of whipped up on them. Magee isn’t really good or bad. They are ok. Enterprise should beat them.

Magee definitely won’t be contending with the best defense in 3A, but they will still probably struggle. Magee isn’t bad. They are a lot like mize actually. Enterprise should win. Magee has a freshman RB that will be highly recruited his senior season.

Mount olive will not have a high school in a few years. Sooner or later they will have to consolidate with Collins. They already had low numbers, like just over 20 players on their roster. And they had to cancel their junior high season because they only had 9 players in their junior high. You cannot survive with numbers like that

Man mount olive really blew it against richton. All they had to do was win that game to make the playoffs. Now they will be back to back years at home.

Bay Springs up 36-14 in the 4th over Tville. I expected bay springs to win by 2 or 3 touchdowns. Looks like that will be the case, maybe even more

Enterprise had a good season. They will likely beat Magee. But if they play JDC in round 2 then that’s the end of the road for them.

The way North Forrest officials acted after the game last night was pretty tasteless. We were passing out district championship t-shirts and families were taking pictures together outside of the field, just like all teams do every week after a win, and school officials security or something comes over barking orders for everybody to leave. Just tacky… but whatever I guess

Pretty classless of north Forrest officials to kick the football players out of the stadium immediately after the game. We were over by the buses passing out district champion shirts and they came and ordered everybody to leave. But whatever

I think there will have to be at least a couple 2A South teams that go to 2A North. Philadelphia, Kemper, Velma Jackson, and Scott Central are all possibilities. Scott Central is the furtherest school south out of those schools. If Union drops down to 2A then they could be a North or South school.

Should have been more worried about the actual next game they had on the schedule first.

Region 5: Enterprise Clarke, Clarkdale, Newton, Bay Springs, Heidelberg Region 6: Puckett, Pelahatchie, Pisgah, Scott Central, Lake Region 7: Enterprise Lincoln, Bogue Chitto, Loyd Star, Amite County, West Lincoln Region 8: Mize, Raleigh, Collins, East Marion, North Forrest This scenario has Philadelphia, Kemper, and Velma Jackson all in 2A North. It’s assuming, probably wrongly that West Lincoln stays 2A. It’s also assuming Perry central stays 3A.

Heck I don’t think west lincoln gets in 2A with those numbers. Don’t guess there’s anyway to know until we see all the numbers

Dang forgot about that region. West Lincoln, Bogue Chitto, Loyd Star, Amite County and I have no clue. Gonna have to be east Marion unless somebody like enterprise lincoln moves up to 2A.

2A south possibility: Raleigh, Puckett, Pelahatchie, Pisgah, Velma Jackson Scott Central, Lake, Philadelphia, Newton, Nanih Waiya Enterprise, Clarkdale, Bay Springs, Heidelberg, Kemper Mize, Collins, North Forrest, Perry Central, East Marion

Bogue Chitto? They lost to Mize and East Marion, both of whom are also 2A. The team that’s playing really good right now is Philadelphia. They had some players out with injuries early in the season, and played a brutal early schedule. They are in a much better position right now.
