The cupboard is way more bare than it usually is at Tville. Tville is lacking athletes and that’s not something they are used to. They had a few good ones left this year but nobody behind them. No depth whatsoever. Granger got about as much out of them as anybody else would have. Their schedule was brutal. I guarantee you it won’t be near as tough next season.

He’s a good young coach. He’s young, so obviously he still gonna learn a lot. I will be honest though, I’m very surprised he got the sumrall job considering he only has 1 year of head coaching experience.

There are no coaches at Mize that are interested in the Tville job. That I can assure you. I know Adrian Agee is at Tville and he will be interested. I think he has a chance to get it. Depends on who all else applies.

Hattiesburg and Oak Grove uses their youth football programs to recruit. It’s much easier for oak grove than it is Hattiesburg. But oak grove is quickly becoming less and less desirable as well and many people are leaving oak grove lately and going places like Sumrall.

The county wide preseason jamboree will also be at Raleigh next year.

Oh he’s gonna be really good. I coached against him every year he played youth football and I saw him this season in junior high. He’s definitely a good one. But he ain’t close to Git. I also coached against Git and everybody knew from the time he was little that he was going to be a special talent

We didn’t reschedule with Newton for next season but we did pick up Newton County. Our region schedule starts in week 7 against Heidelberg. Last 4 weeks of the season are all region games @Heidelberg Enterprise Clarke @Bay Springs Clarkdale

Not many people outside of Hattiesburg thinks Hattiesburg is a very desirable job. There will be some coaches from smaller classes that will be interested in it because it’s a bigger job. But you won’t see many coaches at 5A-7A schools that interested in it.

More people would probably rather apply for a job at sumrall than Hattiesburg.
