  1. I can tell you with 100% certainty, enterprise was better than Tville last season. But I believe Tville returns a little more talent than they do next season. Right now, I would give Tville the slight edge since it’s a home game for them. But it should be a good game.
  2. Morton has a really good young squad. Their 10th grade group next season will be absolutely loaded. They gonna be really good.
  3. Their RB was a good player, and he was a junior I believe. Their biggest issue is they only had like 30-35 players, which is better suited for 1A.
  4. I think NF loses quite a bit of production. I’m not 100% certain on that but I remember them having quite a few senior banners on their fence when we played them. I think we may actually be playing them in the spring jamboree so I guess we will get an early glimpse.
  5. North Forrest really came on strong the last 3-4 games. It’s like a light came on for them. 3 of their last 4 games were losses, but they were competitive losses against good opponents
  6. I think they beat Union and clarkdale. They definitely can also beat Tville.
  7. I honestly see 5-5 for enterprise. If they beat Stringer in week 1, I can see 6-4.
  8. We believe that you believe that.
  9. Puckett football is in a bad spot and will be for a while. They will Duke it out with pelahatchie for the last playoff spot the next couple years. I think Newton is better than both of them.
  10. I told yall at the beginning of this search that Hattiesburg was not a very desirable job. It’s not a bad job. But not a lot of people really want to coach in Hattiesburg.

  12. Has Hattiesburg hired a new coach or not?
  13. No, they didn’t choose to not actively participate in it. They chose not to participate in the curriculum part of it. And they didn’t get a say so if their tax dollars went towards it or not, it was taken from them regardless. So they at least are choosing to participate in some parts of it, since their tax dollars are helping fund it. If they didn’t pay anything towards it at all, you would have an argument. But they pay just as much as you do, and are only accessing part of it while you access all of it.
  14. But at the same time you acknowledge that their tax dollars do go towards that same system, so therefore they should be able to get some of the benefits of it.
  15. They could still do well in a spread, but I think the power run would still need to be their main offense. Like Mississippi State used to run in Mullen’s first couple seasons. I have heard the entire staff is leaving but I don’t know if that’s true.
  16. Oh I know it won’t. But it would give them the most likelihood for success.
  17. You just answered your question. They lost RB, 2 WR’s, and their QB. But they still have their OL. They could control the LOS, and play ball control on offense. Ball control offense would really benefit them, especially considering how thin they are depth wise. It would help their defense. If they still had Beavers, Dre and Reco, of course they would still be spread. But those guys are gone and the JV guys are not on that kind of level. Barnes won’t be able to do it all on his own.
  18. Personally I wouldn’t put Barnes at QB. I would leave him at WR. And honestly, I would probably go to some form of a wing style offense, whether it’s wing-t or double wing.
  19. Just be patient with him. Tville is not going to be as good as fans are accustomed to. They do not have the talent they used to have. I do expect their record to be better next season though because I don’t expect them to have anywhere near as tough a schedule as they have had the last couple years. So they should win more next season with an easier schedule. But with Lumberton and an improving Stringer team in their district, I could see them finishing anywhere from 1st to 3rd in their region standings.
  20. I agree with this, but you also wonder what happens to the poor performing school when you allow the best students to leave? That struggling school will get even worse.
  21. Well we have a couple nearby our school. From what I have been told a school can deny those students if they are already overcrowded
  22. No I’m talking about his other one that was mentioned. House Bill 1435
  23. Is that the one where a kid from a failing school district can go somewhere else ?
