The Wesson qb is 50/50 on basically 3 passes. A whole lot of over throws.
-
The bracket says higher seed, higher region hisr round 3. So you hope Enterprise travels round 2.
-
If you can run then no they can't. But u better score 30 plus on them or its a ball game to the end.
-
If Wesson had a defense they would be dangerous as a 3 seed. They can still be dangerous as a 4 seed. It wouldn't surprise they knock out Region 5 1 seed in Round 1.

Close last year

Raleigh 67 Wesson 27 4:50 left

1A based on the 2021 numbers with 7 classes, take their 8-10 grade numbers and they are 2A.
-
They were 2A when the numbers were posted in January.
-
They were 1A when they made the decision to go to 7 classes according to the numbers.
-
I know Raleigh had 231 when counting 8-10 last year. They have lost 4 students since last August 2021 that would have been counted. I know their number is 227 or lower. If they are 2A then yes low 220 is. What I think is you may have 75 to 100 schools somewhere between 150 and 250. So who knows.
-
No on numbers they turned in. It does look like they are reporting lower numbers.
-
Understood, based on the 8-10th grade Info from last year I see follwing: From 3A to 2A: Clarkdale, St Andrew's, Enterprise Clarke From 2A to 3A: Independence, Jefferson County, Holly Springs From 2A to 1A: Strayhorn, East Marion From 1A to 2A: Bogue Chitto, Bay Springs

January(October 1, 2021) numbers will not be correct now as they were for 9-12th grades then.
-
Collins, West Lincoln, and North Forest numbers were also at the bottom of 2A back in January. Hopefully there will be at least 5 2A schools in the Brookhaven area and or more than just Perry Central down south. We may end up with 3 or 4 schools including Puckett, Raleigh, Mize, Bay Springs, and Heidelberg all traveling South and Southwest. All of sudden travel for everyone south of Jackson just like 5A/6A currently. With 6 schools in Brookhaven area who travels east or northeast towards Mize or Perry Central.
-
I think it has to do with scholarships and the coaching staff selected to coach the team. I think every head coach can put x number of players on the selection list.
-
Agree Mize is further south. One thing to remember it seems that Region 7 will be set unless there is 6 or 4 schools in Brookhaven area. Then 1 gas to travel east to Region 8 or 1 has to travel to Brookhaven say maybe East Marion, Sacred Heart, or Collins. I can then see Region 8 pulling in Perry Central, North Forest, Mize, Bay Springs, Raleigh or Heidelberg.
-
It's the coaching staff that recommends players for All County, All Region, and All State. Good luck but it's usually Seniors that make it mostly.
-
They have Magee tomorrow let's see how they do first.
-
Hereing Forest will be 4A and Morton either at the bottom of 4A or the largest 3A. And both or 1 may go North. Both had large 8th grades last year something 144 for Forest and 120ish for Morton.
-
Sacred Heart had 1A numbers in January list. East Marion was bottom 2A. Mize and or Raleigh may go to Region 8. If there 6 schools around Brookaven then 1 will be in Region 8 most likely Bogue Chitto or Enterprise Lincoln.
-
MSMS in Columbus is a 2A I wonder if 2A will get 41 schools instead of 40.
-
And I think Richton and Enterprise Lincoln are possible with one school from SW Mississippi moving towards Hattiesburg.
-
What 2 schools stay with Collins, Perry Central, and North Forest. I suppose if East Marion and Sacred Heart remain 2A then your correct. If not then Mize/Raleigh are in play for Region 8.
-
And absolutely no one from Region 5 3A made the Allstars rosters. Kind of weird
-
Low 220s I am hereing definitely 2A.
