    I think a lot of people thought Boswell was going to promote him last year before they hired Carr. Carr leaving after 1 year probably made the decision very easy.

    They were really bad last year. Their worst season in a while. I think they had a lot of trouble hiring someone last time. Several people turned it down.

    Yep a job gets posted and almost immediately "it is so and so's job to turn down." If it is anyone else it either a surprise or someone will question the choice.

    There are a couple of smaller schools where someone like Assistant Principals, Transportation Director, or the Tech Director are also the Athletic Director.

    I put the chance of that happening at 1%. Gulfport gave him the keys to the kingdom no questions asked. They made his wife a principal as well.

    I believe that. Clinton pulled him from the college ranks. It looked like a good hire on paper and one year later he is packing it up and heading to a team in the same district.
