Columbus made a hire. Not sure if he knows what he is getting into. Barrin Simpson, played at MSU but has been in Texas for a good bit.

I have heard NP had to start over after someone turned them down. New Hope is very quiet. I guess Magee is finally interviewing. Palmer has some of the best looking athletes in the state, but football isn't a major area of concern. Clinton will likely promote from within.

A lot of places have gone quiet. The ice across the state has probably slowed down the progress. I assume them, Neshoba, North Panola, New Hope, Magee and Newton should be close to make an announcement. Those have been open for a good bit now.

The two names if have heard wouldn't be bad hires. Both have their current schools trending in the right direction. I think they pushed to steal a coach away from a school 1st and missed.

Those are really big Midweek games in a state that loves college baseball. Anytime any combination of USM, MSU, or OM play there will be a massive crowd. Minor league games are fun but there is no real allegiance to the teams.
