Tupelo has to keep up with other schools now.

So Starkville has gotten the RB from New Hope, Starting tackle from Heritage, and possibly the Starting QB from New Hope. I am not accusing anyone of anything but that seems suspicious. Got to keep up with those other 7a schools with similar move ins and transfers, who have had great success recently.

They will probably hire a coach, who's son is a good QB.

Anything can happen in high school football. A top 10 team in the country lost in the playoffs to a team who had won 2 games.

They have 40ish seniors on top that. Whoever makes it from the south congratulations on being the runner up. They could finish the year with wins over the 3a, 4a and 7a state champions.

He left Shannon to take the Heidelberg job so he didn't sit out for a few years. What he has done so far at Heidelberg is exceptional, regardless of how you feel about his previous coaching stints. Not a district game and why exactly would you force them to pay a loss of revenue fee? Choctaw was going to win the game, plus their chances of repeating has sky rocketed with Noxubee's issues.

I have heard they have a lot of injuries. Playing murderers row for your non-conference games doesn't help.

Aberdeen's wins over Amory and Winona were pretty good. Looks like the last time Aberdeen beat Amory was 2017. Biggersville beating Baldwyn was big because it looks like they don't have another tough opponent until the playoffs I don't know if Bruce or if Water Valley have played anyone. Looks like Water Valley vs Myrtle will be for that district.
