Hey @Vottand @Deonte3455, do y’all want to pick a different team to be a fan of this year? I don’t think anybody on MST would hold it against you if you did. Hattiesburg’s got to be hard to look at this year.

I guess we’ll be able to tell after Florence eats their last cupcake this Friday night. After that will be the true litmus test, but you have to give credit where it’s due. Not everyone is 3-0 right now, so job well done by Florence taking care of business so far.

How is Jefferson Davis County ranked #4 in 3A? Mancuso would run circles around Enterprise, Raleigh and Amory. No disrespect to those programs, but they just knocked off a school 3 1/2 times bigger than them. Help me to understand .

No doubt. We do have a great defense this year. They have been lights out.

Heck Jefferson Davis County just beat D’Iberville who is a school that is over 3 1/2 times bigger than them and that was only by a point. We’ll definitely have our hands full Friday night.

I think the offense will catch up at some point. We’ve just been playing some pretty good football teams in non-region play which is what you want.

Well Dub I had to stir the pot to keep things from getting stagnant LOL!

Interesting. Sounds like that might be best for all involved.

To beat a school 3 1/2 times bigger than you is quite impressive. Regardless of score, talent level, coaching abilities, etc.

Let’s get this thread started. What’s the predictions for this game? I was very impressed with the way Picayune played last night. Gulfport was a big and tough football team and we were able to get a win against them. I feel like we played probably the most complete game so far this season. We still have plenty of things that we need to clean up. Our receivers can definitely play better and I think they will. D’Iberville always shows up ready to play and we better not overlook them. This should be a good ballgame to see, but I think Picayune will prevail in this one.

I agree Bulldogs4. Just keep Vance reigned in on the sidelines and y’all should be good to go. Maybe he won’t resort to flopping Friday night.

Bring back the Vaiden Bulldogs!

Will Hattiesburg @ Meridian take place this week? With Vance and his shenanigans it just doesn’t seem like a good recipe for a football game. Maybe that’s the game that doesn’t need any fans. Thoughts?

Laurel was tied with Vancleave as the smallest 5A school. They’ll probably still be 5A once we go to 7 classifications next year. Also I believe Mendenhall is 4A and Magee is 3A. They’ll be a decent sized school when they form Simpson County Central or whatever they are going to call it.

I hear ya Slick. It sounds like it’s getting worse.

My goodness slick it’s Vance throwing the ultimate shenanigans. Definitely not a good look.

That was definitely comedic gold LOL!

Great game Gulfport! Y’all have some big hog mollies on your football team. That was a tough win for Picayune, but it’s the most complete game we’ve played so far. Very proud of our effort tonight.
