Do you think Laurel's massive OL will give Hattiesburg problems?
-
@Vott& @Deonte3455y'all got differing opinions on this? What do you think will happen here?
-
yes sir Coach Bulldog2205! LOL!
-
Pearl? What does a team that went 2-9 a year ago have to do with Oak Grove vs. Hoover?
-
Hoover ain't gonna know what hit 'em.
-
Dub’s gonna get a dub in this one. I think Oak Grove has the team to get it done.

Catholic will be a lot tougher than you think. It's a different animal we are playing this week. They beat Zachary 24-21 last year and only lost to John Curtis in the playoffs by 3 with that same score.

Top Coast teams traveling to the Jackson area for big games.

Brick ain't mean spirited. I want you to answer this one question with all seriousness without deviation. How would Picayune (a MHSAA 6A school) benefit playing Lamar (a MAIS 5A school) and how would it make either program have better football teams? -
College Football Opening Week(s) Thread

I may be beating a dead horse here, but for whatever reason it seems like State's offense isn't going to be the big issue or unknown that the national pundits think it's going to be. Yes, it's a different offense than the Air Raid, but it's got way more balance and I don't think the transition is a difficult one. This type of offense is what fits Mississippi State and I think we've got a head coach and an offensive coordinator that fit Mississippi State as well. Will there be some hiccups? Probably so, but it's not going to be detrimental and I don't think it's going to be this anemic thing that costs State a ball game. -
Good luck with that. Sounds like it's not even a job, which is a good thing.

Can't be any worse than the Saints LOL! -
Tupelo is playing Southaven at home. Are y'all gonna have an arctic blast this week playing that far North? Hopefully games won't be as hot this week LOL!
-
Covering at Tupelo? You work for a radio or news broadcast or something?

Northwest Rankin beat a tough Germantown team at home last week. Let's see how they do against Clinton this week playing on the road. If Northwest Rankin pulls off a W at Clinton, you might be on to something.

I think so. I don't think they are as good as Catholic and this is basing everything on results from last year (so that doesn't really mean anything). Ocean Springs may have a little bit more of a reprieve, but they are still going to have to bring their A game. Both Catholic and Scotlandville are in the same district with Zachary.

If you sip that kool-aid, that’s when you get beat. I ain’t even gonna do it.

I was wondering why we were so vanilla against Brandon. But you are exactly right Tib. If we run #6 to death like we did last Friday things won't look so good for us down the road. If that wasn't by design, then Lord help us.
-
Just rename it Top "Big Boy Football" Games of the Week Sponsored by "Eat your Wheaties" LOL! There's a lot of big matchups like that this week. I think Picayune, Oak Grove, and Ocean Springs are all in similar boats this week. All of our Mississippi Teams need to have the mindset as tough as last week was (with the exception of Oak Grove), it's only going to get tougher this week.

Not trying to derail the thread here, but Picayune is going to be in for a war against Catholic. Picayune is going to need all hands on deck so to speak.
