  1. It’s not about skin color, never has been for me. It’s about getting the best out of those kids wearing those uniforms. There’s people that understand that and then there’s people that make it about this or that. I will give whoever gets the job my support.

  3. He’s a very good coach but the community is only going to back one or two candidates. I’m going to post this and it’s probably going to make some people mad but it’s not my intention. On another site someone posted the candidates that they knew of. In the comments underneath there was a comment made are there any black candidates. Unfortunately that’s how a lot are looking at it they’re not worrying about the best coach. To many people White and Black in Wayne County are turning it into a racial thing. I don’t care White,Black, Brown etc…. Give me the best available coach that can bring the team together and win. I’ve known Tracey Lampley pretty much all his life, Kevin Gandy if either get it I would be thrilled and support them on the other hand if Todd Mangum or Chris Boone gets the job I’ll do the same.just hire a good COACH!!!!

  4. How anyone who is a member of a school board, be it the superintended, or the desk clerk, could allow an outgoing principle, who was more or less forced to resign, and after the contempt for board members he showed back in December, have any say in filling any job openings, is complete lunacy. He should have been fired for insubordination before new years.

  5. Perhaps a lost season for State but a legendary performance by Hubbard. Shout out to KeShawn Murphy for missing an open dunk and taking the L in his return to the Hump. Also shout out to John Cohen for giving Steven Pearl a 5 year contract for some inexplicable reason.

  6. He developed the power house field goal offense at Brandon. Recently he learned under the coach maker Shelton Gandy at Meridian. You won’t hear that though from the press in Waynesboro though instead you’ll get “ Hathorne attracted former Southern Miss and pro QB Austin Davis who was one of the finalists for the job. All the while the dude’s coaching resume sucked and there was no way the board was going to approve this guy . Running cover to keep people who understand what it takes to win at Wayne County. Wait until it breaks on who Hathorne has already told his name will be one of the ones to make it before the board .

  8. In thinking about this. What does it really matter what rules they put in place when they selectively enforce what they have now. Do we really see that changing?
