Did they still not hire a coach?

I disagree with this but I’m also not from there. Pound doesn’t deserve it just because he played there. He hasn’t had any success as a coach that is special. He is even being demoted at ocean. Now kat on the other hand had his chance there already. Mitch was a slam dunk that is being missed.

Dead set over there it needs to be someone from the old guard. Should have just hired Mitch and been done. Now I’d be shocked if he took it. He won’t be able to convince good assistants to get in that circus either at this point. None of this is on the hated Bubba Hathorne either.

Exactly. And I’m sure they all feel like they have access and it could probably influence a lot of decisions as well that may or may not be for the program but for you buddy

Also and my last comment. All the good ones are outsiders until they do something to become part of the club. Hall/Boyles Smith county Mangum/Simpson County. Plenty that way at other schools and I know it happens but not sure how many are born and bred and do great things at their home school.

I really believe it may be someone that really isn’t even being talked about. I’m curious how that will go over with the community if it’s not one of these guys with WC ties. And I have no information at all let me be clear. Just a hunch

I’m curious about the college guys and how they relate to the high schoolers if one of them were to get it. They are used to a different type of kid and half of them don’t recruit high schools anymore and live in the portal. Seems like there could be a divide there but could be wrong

From all the names I’ve heard that interviewed the past two days, Brady is the only wing t guy called in. May be something to this

I heard somewhere the other day that she is the one heading the committee and conducting interviews. Bubba was just a contact for emails.

I know of three coaches that were called and told they interview next week. Not going to say names like previously posted by someone to protect them if their current schools do not know. Not really sure how many are getting a meeting but do know three for sure next week and they aren’t Carter or Corey Reynolds even though I’m sure they are interviewing as well.

I’m sure there will be tons of applicants besides those two.
