I am kinda with you guys , State wins with a reasonably healthy Taylor and Bothwell. If not then Okie wins. I like Ole Miss to beat Texas. The Texas team that beat the ohio state & Tennessee has gone into hibernation. Ole Miss 28-17. LSU as much as I dislike saying this, seems to be getting their act together. Auburn will be flat after the Georgia win. LSU 27-14. Tennessee lays an egg after TSIO and South Carolina is playing much better football. SC for the win 24-16. A&M @ Bama. Bama is trending down and A&M is in the abyss. That said, look for an ugly game, that Bama wins 28-20. Vandy @ Kentucky. Wildcats are playing very well but they are due for an off game and this is the type of game that Vandy can sneak up on people. Look for KY to struggle mightily but eke out a win 21-18.

Yes the drama at WC drove made a few pull out. I can’t say I blame them at all. The community knew who they wanted and the school board wanted someone else. The community stood their ground and it seems to be working out.

That is what I think according to the numbers but time will tell. You almost have to maintain 75 or so per grade to remain 3A now.

It’s just a big group. May push them up to 3A for one count but they will come back down after 2 years

8.3.6 has been removed from the handbook on October 20th. I believe that was the multiplier.

He did not interview at Pascagoula from what I was told. He apparently applied, but pulled his name out. The Hattiesburg coach who did interview was OC Archie Gibbs. He did apply at Wayne County as well but I assume with all the drama, he backed out of that too.

This is facts!!! He definitely applied at WC and I also heard Pascagoula. I was shocked he didn’t get that Pascagoula job. I believe he’s a good coach

Solid. However, 2A is Heidleberg and I don't think it's close. I agree that KC will be there but the buses will be cranked at halftime.

GC is a grind it out, run the clock, shorten the game offense. A lot of the runs against WJ were QB keeps. If your defense will key on the QB and stop him, y'all should be fine. He is tough though and runs hard. Hattiesburg offense needs to make the most of their possessions early. GC not built to come from behind. and yes WJ has Forest Hill away this week, and after the Hattiesburg game, Jim Hill away. We will certainly know the way to Jackson by then.

Im sure it was culture shock to him when he got to Hattiesburg and saw how things are also ran around the state. For those who dont know, he came from one of the most successful high school programs in the country and probably a top 5 program in Georgia. (Valdosta High school)

If lacey leave hattiesburg he leaves Mississippi unless it's a job at the next level. It was always a 3-5 year plan with him and honestly if he wouldve won state last year he would have left. He doesn't like how sports are ran in Mississippi (he's on record saying that). Alabama or Georgia is ultimately where he wants to be.
