maybe he is on good behavior tonight

Talk about one eating words. Neaves was adamant on may 28 2026 that the 1.5 multiplier was voted on and ready. now under the advice of legal council it is not. what a mess

#11 from petal should be out a game from what he did at WJ. Should have been tossed in that one

Back to original numbers I guess St Andrew's might have not wanted to be 4A. They can't compete in football anymore. That new Bama/,Florida league may have been a factor.

I guess this will only increase recruiting more since these schools can pull players from afar for athlerics?

I'd say the private schools pushed back big time. The fact is these schools have competed for years in the association and while some have been very successful in several sports, it wasn't until PCS beat Booneville in the baseball finals last season that it was ever mentioned. It was short sighted, knee jerk reaction by the MHSAA. A similar thing happened years back when Cathedral, St.Al, and Greenville St Joe's left for the MAIS because they could no longer allow kids to play who lived across the river in Arkansas and Louisiana. Again, a knee jerk reaction by a few upset coaches in the MHSAA. I'm glad the MHSAA has reversed the ruling for now. Now, to get us back to 5 classes among the remaining member schools.

Who cares?

Did several private schools threaten to leave the MHSAA?

I saw where the MHSAA has decided not to add the 1.5 multiplier for private schools now

MHSAA has decided not to add a 1.5 multiplier to private schools this reclassification. I bet ya some arms were twisted and some ears were chewed.

.

Ugly enough if the players go into the stands.

Pontotoc, Shannon, Hazelhurst and Port Gibson all 4 receive 1 yr disciplinary probation /fined 4 port gibson players have to sit 2 games- # 17,22,35,54 1 hazelhurst player sits 2 games- # 10 1 game for # 20 Kemper county 1 game for #64 holmes county central 1 game for #55 clarksdale JV team #55 west bolivar for 2 games #52 west bolivar 1 game #52 riverside gets 2 games #40 crystal springs -2 games #78 biloxi gets 1 game

ejections before half for unsportsmanlike conduct from both teams. then fighting in the handshake line led to caroll parish players fighting in the stands with assumption fans as well. Assumptions season wasn't ended but they now have to play their home games on the road the remainder of this season.

Must not have been the first fight or it was real ugly.

Yes the LHSAA suspended the team and the coaching credentials of the coaches for a year

Louisiana . Carroll Parish . They shut their whole program down until next season for a fight that happened two weeks ago.

In LA?

OM big Bama LSU Missouri TX Florida Tennessee Any game I miss is due to the weather conditions. Even TX/OK

Some school and it's coaches can't play for the rest of the season for something that happened here in LA. A local coach told me earlier in the gym.

Saw this getting passed around on social media. Taking this with a grain of salt, might be some AI generated carried over from last season.

I hope they do win, but if they don’t the season won’t last very long. When Pascagoula loads the box, Picayune needs to find a way around it and not get caught up in it.
