I'll say this about the 2 ADs being discussed.

IF Ole Miss was looking for an AD and hired Cohen... it certainly wouldn't be my first choice but shrug my shoulders and would certainly not be pissed about the hire. It's a "meh" hire with some potential to me.

IF Ole Miss was looking for an AD and hired back Ross Bjork, I'd be pissed and not give a dime. I was tempted to send A&M a thank you card for hiring him, I'm still tempted to.

Cohen is very much a mid tier AD in terms of recent ones in Mississippi. I think Greg Byrne, Scott Stricklin, and Keith Carter probably are/were better, but I’d rather have Cohen than, say, Bjork, Pete Boone, or Larry Templeton.

The fact that I just grouped Bjork in the same category as Boone and LT says all you need to know. That guy is in way over his head and has been ever since OM hired him a decade ago.

Cohen’s whole “smartest guy in the room” schtick grows tiresome. He’s a world class over thinker, and has been all the way back to his coaching days.

That’s why I’m not sold at all on Auburn hiring the obvious choices of Kiffin or Freeze. Nah, that’s not Cohen at all. He’s bound to hire the linebackers coach for the Chiefs or the head coach of Hofstra and try to sell it as an outstanding outside the box hire.
