They have to win two of the 4 SEC games and get three at home. I say 6-6 is their ceiling. That’s ridiculous for the amount of talent and how much Fisher is making. They claim to have all the money in the world. Kicked FG and then recovered on side kick, had two attempts in the end zone to win it. But other wise, you would think they would be better than this in his 5th season. Dawg83 Posted October 24, 2022 Author Share Posted October 24, 2022 This week went about like I expected so no change on my end of the year prediction. I’ve got OM at 9-3 and State at 7-5. Though I’m slightly more open to the idea that State wins the Egg Bowl after seeing the OM defense in recent weeks. So there’s a possibility both finish 8-4. Im not as sure about State beating Auburn as I was a few weeks ago, but I’m also not as confident that OM beats State. I like OM to beat A&M and lose to Bama. I’m not sure Arkansas can stop OM from scoring, but OM will probably have a tough time stopping Jefferson also. I am all of a sudden looking forward to the Bama/LSU game. Their two toughest remaining games are LSU and Ole Miss, and both are in Fayetteville. I say that now and watch them lose to Auburn on Saturday. If Evans doesn't play RB simply to spell Judkins, then Dart's pre-snap read struggles will continue. Leach is basically coaching for state's season on Nov 5. There is no other way to approach it. It is one more opportunity to improve and win a game. The open date is a huge help. Lot of injuries and banged up guys . So that should help coming into that game to get some players back. Plus the team can take a collective breath. This last stretch of four games was tough. They can reset and be ready to go down the stretch. Can still be a very successful season. Need the defense that played against alabama to show up again and the offense that played against Arkansas. Stay solid on special teams and we should be in good shape to win. pancho Posted October 27, 2022 Share Posted October 27, 2022 It is one game and if he can't motivate his team to beat a team that is as messed up as what Harsin is dealing with then Leach has a worse mess than we can even imagine. I was at a high school game several years ago when Lafayette was up 48-0 at half and the losing team scored a TD in the 4 th quarter and the coach said his team won the 2nd half even though his team lost 55-7.
