5) Desoto Central

6) Germantown

7 ) Meridian

10)  Louisville

Based on this list….I’m actually more interested in who you think has nice uniforms.

Oak Grove got the worst uniforms but they invalid. they wont even make playoffs this year

Dude, I got a better chance of winning the powerball or megamillions than Oak Grove not making the playoffs. What four teams in that region will make it?

Lots easier to win 4 region games when your traditionally better than Petal, Meridian, Pearl, and Terry and that is playoff bound. You still purchasing tickets come 2nd week if November u are the the looser.

Prior to last season, OG had been to 3 straight state title games. Has nothing to do with how good or bad the region is. We just play an elite brand of football.

Is 6a south the SEC west of MS football?

The folks in region 3-5A might beg to differ, but who knows 😕

maroontide06, dont you wish Wayne Co and Hattiesburg were still in region 4. I know its more than likely one of us will see Picayune in the playoffs, but man those regular season battles were great

Those were definitely some good battles, but we'll see what happens when they come out with the reclassification.  I think Picayune will be borderline between a small 6A and a large 5A. I honestly have no idea how the new classifications and regions will shape up, but I know for sure that PRC is pretty much a lock for 6A.  I'm just ready to get some boiled peanuts and watch some Friday night football to be honest.

So are people moving into Pearl River co ouside the city of Picayune or people moving out of Picayune? I just cant see where PRC would have more students than Picayune

Honestly Vott, it's probably a little bit of both.  We get the folks who move into Pearl River County from Louisiana and then there are people who want to save on their taxes, so yes PRC has definitely gotten bigger than Picayune.  Will the two schools always be close to the same size?  From a numbers standpoint they probably will, but the days of Picayune being larger than PRC are definitely over with.
