To whom it may concern

Wayne County normally livestreams its games and also does a delayed playback. Neither will happen this week they play at Greene County. Their school district called and said we couldn’t stream or film for delayed broadcast this week. Just wanted to let everyone know I know we don’t have the audience we ones did but everyone is appreciated.

Why are they so salty about that?  Y’all would be doing them a free favor by promoting their school and football team.  I don’t see the harm in it.

I can see two reasons behind it:

1. To get more paying rumps in the stands.

2. To whittle down the number of game films your opponents get to see.

I get the part about getting more butts in the stands especially if you are within easy driving distance. (2hrs) But for the ones who may live in another state and want to see their grandchild or niece/nephew play, livestreaming games is great

Not only that but what about the parents who may be working away from home trying to watch their son play

Beware of a LOT of fake links to games asking you to sign up for access. I know our game announcements have 5 or 6 fake links per week that we have to block and delete. Lots of scammers trying to prey on grandparents or just gullible people in general. There were at one time over 200 fake MHSAA Facebook pages that posted links. Our games are completely free with zero sign in. So if you see a sign up page, it's 100% a fake.
