Olcoach77
Anyone have any thoughts who the top coaches are in each classification? Who has taken over terrible programs before they got there and are now winning?

Dub312
I'm not going by classification, but Shannon White, M.C. Miller, Ryan Earnest, Todd Breland, Lance Mancuso, Matt Caldwell, Anthony Dillon, Randall Montgomery, Ryan Higdon, Michael Fair, and Tyrone Shorter are great coaches. Old Golfer
Look for John Keith at Nettlton to be a great HC. Ran the offense for Trent Hammond at Amory and Tupelo. Should have been Tupelo’s HC. Edited December 20, 2021 by Old Golfer

Just saying if he is going to be a “great coach” from a W-L standpoint, he’s going to have to find a different school. There are plenty in the area

State titles are not the only criteria of how good a coach is; Jimmerson went 12-1 coaching a team that was rebuilding; Mancuso has had much more talent; he's had numerous d-1 players. Its easier to win when you have superior talent. And Jimmerson may win a state title next year.
