Dubaction Posted November 21, 2023 Share Posted November 21, 2023 I’ve been on MST since the glory days of this site (2006ish) seen all of the changes it has gone through. There are still some familiar names here that have been around since that time as well that I recognize every year that have been loyal to their schools since day one. I used to read this forum religiously back in those days when you posted as Hound80. I never posted or made an account, but heck the content was so good back then you didn't have to. I really dont think the board itself is so different despite the moves. changes in tone were probably more related to changing times. social media became ubiquitous (football term meaning Maroon Tide defense) and everyone wanted to be checking everybody else. It's not necessary. we can just talk football. to be honest I think it has actually calmed down some here. it just took a while. Some past conversations centered around applehead, 6tring, etc (names changed to protect the innocent) were way off the rails. we are doing ok for the most part. maybe there should be a separate topic to reminisce about some of that craziness.ha no I am just kidding. He was a dang good person and I thoroughly enjoyed our meetings when we got to meet up. He loved him some Baldwyn and I still check to see how they’re doing cuz of him.
