They really can't hire anyone to replace him since Allen should be the head man once consolidation occurs.

Buddy buddy and Allen is not their Buddy or he doesn't have enough votes on the board right now. I also here it's before Supreme Court of Mississippi to stop the consolidation. I also here now it's fall of 2027 now. They are not building the new school far as I know.

Either way it would be hard for someone to jump on that job with so much uncertainty.

Correct. 2027 is the year, but it’s up in the air if consolidation ever happens

It is sad the way coaches at Magee are treated.  The administration hates coaches.  There are some great athletes at Magee, but the way the administration treats coaches it will be hard for anybody to take that job.

They might treat coaches "bad" but everybody that has coached there won big then went on to get bigger/better jobs

How many coaches have taken that job then had their career go down the drain? The point is that Magee has been a successful program and that it could be a launching pad type job for a young and upcoming coach. They have some real talent walking around that place. I don't know of many places that don't treat coaches bad in the grand scheme of things. They get loaded down with classes and are expected to be a star teacher, win every game, drive a bus route, and pull every extra duty that the school has. I heard a coach say that he makes about $2.25 per hour after you factor in all the extra time/duties they work.

Well 4 of them have retired and the other one is at Philly.   I am trying to say all 5 coaches could be hall of fame guys, but Magee administration will not let them coach the way they need to.  Magee administration is soft and has been since Coach Huffman and Mr. Howell was principal there.

I'm not arguing that the administration is not the best. I agree that something must be off if no coach wants to stay and build up the program. I think it could be a sleeping giant if they found common ground between a good coach and the administration

I could completely wrong but I would guess that would be highly unlikely.  And I would guess CCA would do there best to keep him if he wanted to leave considering they are trending in the right direction.

Trending in the right direction how? They haven’t scored a point in probably 3 weeks 😂😂😂
