You pretty much answered your own question with the three you mentioned. They seem to be the top three at this moment. In the north Ripley and Amory will be tough outs but I just don’t think they’re on Louisville’s level.

South: McComb, Columbia, Poplarville, Quitman, maybe Mendenhall with no defense.

North: Louisville and Louisville.

Amory haven't played nobody good this season been playing them weak cupcakes schedule, If Amory meet Louisville in the playoff Amory won't beat Lousiville

shannon wouldnt be undefeated if they played amorys weak cupcake schedule. shannon looked awful at ripley. I was there and saw it.  ripley and amory may be the next best teams to louisville in the 4A north and they are nowhere near as complete a team as louisville is.

Shannon def wouldn’t be cuz they lost to Saltillo by 22 and Amory beat them by 32. That Amory/Ripley game next Friday night should be a good one with the region title on the line.

Shannon didn't executing on both sides of the ball they left too many pts off the scoreboard, it was several defense miss assignments in that game, offense had too many drop balls they was in that till that FG att mess them up down 14-13 in 2nd Q , then everything fall apart from that

We get your point period

What I’m curious to see is how McComb, Columbia, and Poplarville shake things out in the playoffs.  Obviously Columbia and McComb has the makings of a marquee matchup.  I personally think the 4A South representative will be able to hold their own against Louisville.  Louisville would obviously be the favorite, but 4A South can definitely win the whole shebang.

Imo Columbia and Poplarville are two of the best coached teams in the state. McComb obviously has a good team, maybe last year was a learning curve, but they have to do something in November before I place the in the same category are Pop and Columbia.

Louisville seems to be extremely strong. Out of the north, don’t see anybody beating them but you never know

I’d rank the South

1. Columbia

2. Pop

3. McComb

4. Quitman

North

1 Louisville

got an Amory vs Ripley game coming up. Could tell a lot.
