Dawg83
Well, last weekend was nuts. Should be more tame this weekend but who the heck knows. Ole Miss at Texas - two teams that seem to be trending in opposite directions. Part of me wonders if Texas is too talented to lose 3 in a row, but heck they’re fortunate to only have 2 losses right now really and truly. Ole Miss has played its best football the last two weeks, and is definitely the trendy pick here with Texas having some injuries. Genuinely torn on this one, but I’m gonna take Texas to have a get right game at home and win 30-24. Oklahoma at State - is Kamario playing? Answer that question and I’ll tell you who I think wins. I think this game is going to be sloppy regardless. If it’s Puckett vs Mateer then the sequel to 3-2 is in play. The talk as we sit here today seems to be leaning toward Kamario plays. If he does, I trust him to make more plays than the OU offense. This prediction doesn’t count if Kamario is out, but I’m taking State 24-20 in this one. LSU at Auburn - well, this one is suddenly more interesting than anyone expected. Can LSU finally win one on the road? I lean yes. I am currently of mind that AU’s win last week was kinda fluky and I want to see them play well two weeks in a row. But I have LSU winning this one something like 28-17. Tennessee at South Carolina - in a season full of lessons games, this feels like one for sure. SC is even favored here. It seems like SC found a little something in that Florida game, and I think they are a talented team even with the slow start. I’m taking SC at home by a field goal. Texas A&M at Bama - tough couple of weeks for the Tide, but A&M stinks. Bama by 3 TD’s. Vandy at Kentucky - yall ready to talk to your kids about 7-1 Kentucky? Because that’s about to be a thing. Cats have big November full of meaningful games, don’t think they’ll have any issues with Vandy. I can’t in good conscience pick a team that lost to the 2026 Arkansas razorbacks Edited Wednesday at 04:35 PM by Dawg83
Former Coach
I think TX is headed in the wrong direction. Manning has been way over rated. OM wins by 10+ Even as bad as Mateer and OK offense has been State defense has been worse last couple of weeks. Only way State wins is if KT and Fluff are 90-95% and don't get reinjured. And i don't think either are there. Hope I'm wrong but OK wins by 2 TD's. LSU big. SC in a close one. Bama by 2 TD's KY big.
Dawg83
Texas is a weird team to reconcile because I totally agree they are tending the wrong way but at the same time they have wins over Ohio State and at Tennessee. So nothing seems to be off the table with them. Edited Wednesday at 04:37 PM by Dawg83
MSTSatchmo
TX finally plays a whole game and wins by 6 If Taylor and Bothwell play, State by 4. If not, OK by at least 2 TDs LSU close Bama, KY and TN big Vegas usually knows what’s up though and they have SC favored over TN. That’s crazy after TN just dominated Bama. Bulldogs4
I am kinda with you guys , State wins with a reasonably healthy Taylor and Bothwell. If not then Okie wins. I like Ole Miss to beat Texas. The Texas team that beat the ohio state & Tennessee has gone into hibernation. Ole Miss 28-17. LSU as much as I dislike saying this, seems to be getting their act together. Auburn will be flat after the Georgia win. LSU 27-14. Tennessee lays an egg after TSIO and South Carolina is playing much better football. SC for the win 24-16. A&M @ Bama. Bama is trending down and A&M is in the abyss. That said, look for an ugly game, that Bama wins 28-20. Vandy @ Kentucky. Wildcats are playing very well but they are due for an off game and this is the type of game that Vandy can sneak up on people. Look for KY to struggle mightily but eke out a win 21-18. Dawg83
Fluff is playing tomorrow. Kamario appears to be playing too. Obviously huge for State if so. My concern is their defense is in shambles. Game is going to be decided by a bad Oklahoma offense vs a bad State defense, IMO.
