Merlin
No one started this yet. Seems folks from up north, who rarely sneeze at anyone from outside 3-4 counties in the GTA, are excited about this matchup with private school from NOLA. They think Louisville winning by double digits. I think it’s going to very much be the opposite.

While Louisville is very good and capable of winning…as far as I can tell it’s a case of some small town people that don’t know football outside of their zip code
BoKnows08
Yall can say what you want to about who you think will win but I’m a Louisville Wildcat fan this Friday! Louisville fans know plenty of football outside of their zip code I can assure you that. Louisville expects their team to win and that’s why they are a perennial winner. It doesn’t matter if they’re in GTA or from NOLA, Louisville expects to win because that’s the standard. For these South MS folks that haven’t seen Louisville play this year I would encourage you to check them out online. They have PLAYERS! Especially on the defensive side of the ball and the QB #5 can go along with their stable of RBs. JC may win but I’m excited that one of these out of state teams will finally play one of the better teams in MS while they are on the up and up. John Curtis has almost 1,000 students and little Louisville has half of that. I hope they embarrass JC. Go Wildcats!

But John Curtis does not have 1,000 kids in their high school. Maybe 1,000 k-12. Louisville has a much higher enrollment than JC, I can assure you of that. Now JC recruits like crazy so the numbers don’t mean anything.

Most are loaded with talent, a few years ago Wayne County played Arch Bishop Rummel on ESPN. Almost every player they had was D1 lol. Like you I’m pulling for Louisville and yes they expect to win no matter who they are playing it’s in their DNA.

They also have a QB, 2 WR's and a 2030 DL (Ole Miss/LSU) with multiple offers. All of this is according to On3/rivals.

I been knowing about John Curtis football awhile now and when i saw that they had Louisville winning 35-0, that was insane! I know what John Curtis bring to the table but of course im going to root for my town and i think the rest of Mississippi should root for Louisville too whether u like em or not! Mississippi hardly gets any respect in football or just anything and tonight if the small town of Louisville can pull this off, this would not only be huge for Louisville but the State of Mississippi as well! Go Cats im pulling for you guys all the way from Texas
wildcatnation662
Louisville and John Curtis has almost about the same number of D1 players on the field, i think Louisville has just a few more than them! The talent level is there on both sides but football imo always and have to come down to coaching! So wtbs the better coached team tonight will win also with who doesnt turn the ball over and least penalized team! I got Louisville winning late in the 4th lets goooo! Fun fact: Louisville has never lost an out of state game so hopefully that trend continues tonight

I’ve seen some outrageous takes which leads me to believe some people have no clue who John Curtis is. Oak Grove played JC 4 years ago and lost 28-23 with a chance to win it in the final seconds. They are legitimate.
slicklizard
Curtis is not invincible. Louisville is probably gonna be more athletic than they are. The thing that sets Curtis apart is that they are gonna play the same no matter if they’re ahead by 50 or behind by 50. It’s drilled into them day after day. So if Louisville gets up on them, especially early the team leaders and the coaches have to stay after everybody else. Don’t take your foot off the gas. They will come back on you if you let up. Their game is to have a little bit of a stalemate for about half the game, then letting the grind go to work on you. Good luck, Louisville we all behind you. Curtis does have a YouTube channel.
