coastball
Biloxi v Picayune- Picayune by 14 OS v Pascagoula - I'm tentatively going Goula but wary of it D'Iberville v Seminary- Walley by 21 Harrison Central v Tylertown- Harr Central takes this Long Beach v Bay - Long Beach by 28 Hancock v Poplarville- Poplarville by 21 Pass Christian v PCS- probably best game of the week. I think Pass takes this high scoring event St Patrick v Amite School Center St Pat takes this and gets on 3 game roll as their three opponents are terrible Resurrection v Amite County- Amite by 40+ East Central v PRC- PRC by 21 Vancleave v FCAHS- good game I hope Vancleave can pull it out St Martin V Stone- St Martin by 21 Moss Point v Stanislaus- Stanislaus by 21 Gautier v West Harrison- Gators by 14 or more CCA v Bowling Green- Bowling Green by 28 Amended Gulfport v Laurel- Gulfport by 14 Thanks Slick Did I leave any off? Yes they are improved a little. Will still beat Harr Central, West Harr, and maybe OS or Biloxi this year. They could sneak into the #4 seed if the ball bounces right for them
maroontide06
I tend to think Gulfport might win this one by more than 14.

Archer
OS needs Pascagoula to beat itself -- which is possible given they had over 100 yards in penalties (mostly pre-snap) against Biloxi. I think Coach Green corrected that Monday and Pascagoula wins.

Their OLine is not that strong. But they got athletes all over the place. I would not be shocked to see Laurel within 7-10pts at the half. I know y'all miss having him on the sideline. Hopefully your new coach can forge his own path.
maroontide06
@ArcherI knew I had a respect for Coach Sims, but I didn't realize how much of a respect I had for him. I'm glad I got to experience that.

He's where he needs to be -- not coaching Pascagoula. The first five years he was on his way to legend status ... then, well. he began losing good assistants and replacing them with less qualified cronies and the program underachieved for the next 10 years. What I've seen the first two games is a a level of coaching and leadership not experienced around here in many years.

Wow Gpt shocked me with that score as did Picayune. Picayune must be way down this year Well when you've been punched in the mouth for two straight weeks against Gulfport and JA, just getting up off the mat and finding a way to win is huge. I'm sure Picayune would have wanted to win by a larger margin, but there was a lightning delay and you are on the road. Anytime there's those types of delays, it generally favors the home team. Picayune needed a win and the got it. They know they still have a lot to work on.
