When a player transfers in from out of state, they are required to go through a "two week acclimatization period" no matter how many games they may have played previously for their other team. They are technically "eligible" they just have to sit through these next two weeks to acclimatize.

Yes this is correct I remember Wayne County playing Pascagoula and their big running back had moved back from Georgia I believe. Anyway he had a huge game against WC in his first game being eligible.

I think were a better team without them. Now they are both great players but sometimes great players can take away from a team. I just think were playing good right now.

You beat East Central and Greene County. Neither one of those teams are very good. You need great players to beat the Picayunes, Hattiesburg’s, and Wayne County’s of the world.

I was told there is  A LOT more to this story than we know. I was told neither player had planned to return but were forced to return due to some behind the scenes work from George County. Obviously could be he said/she said and completely false. That is just what my source up near Benndale told me.

How can george county FORCE  him to come back lol?  They Cant!!  The grass was not greener on the other side and they found that out.  I do wonder if flopping schools back and fourth will hurt his recruitment?  I would be skeptical.  Doesn't matter, Picayune will not be beat in the south.

@CrimsonUnit1988& @HailState58feel free to share your thoughts on this and light up a cigar or two LOL!

Seems like Deuce Knight and Kohl Fairley and their respective families both got a little antsy with their current situations in George County, made a decision they thought was right, and then homesickness hit both of the kids pretty hard.  I won't speak for what's best for them in high school, because I don't know.  But, I sure didn't like the idea that the University of Tennessee was about to take two really good players out of state.

I want both of these guys to be special players for our Mississippi universities, wherever that may end up being.  Although I can understand the myriad of reasons why, I'm still frustrated with the fact that so many people leave here for greener pastures.
