They were just as good as the Lamar Academy’s and Simpson Academy’s that they played. Went more rush heavy last week according to their stats on maxpreps. Their OL/DL appear to be mostly underclassmen for what it's worth. Mobile Chistian wasn't very good last season and PCS lost last week to them. They’ve got some bigger guys than in previous years, but still not sure how they match up against MHAA on the overall. They’ve never been super strong in football like they have been in baseball and basketball. They may fare okay in the 3A division. It’s still too early to tell. (And please let’s save ourselves the trouble and not pretend like scholarshipping of athletes doesn’t happen. We all know it does - it’s not a debate. Not naming names. Let’s move on.) I personally believe all private schools who want to switch over to MHSAA should have to play up a class (PCS would be 4A).
