Taylorsville knows how to win and win the big ones. Agee has those kids believing again. Going to be a lot of rumblings to start parting ways with this staff after week 1. There are fans at every school that say this exact same thing about their school every single year. Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows mize football more than me, and mize has not been the best 2A team in the state ever since they have been in 2A going back to 2005. Nobody was beating Scott central 3 years ago, nobody was beating Charleston 2 years ago and nobody was beating Heidelberg last year. The best teams won the championship every year the last 3 years. Was Mize better than Loyd Star last season? Yes, probably so. But they weren’t better than Loyd Star on that one particular night. That’s the way the game goes, it’s the way it’s always gone ever since the game was invented. But to the average Joe that has absolutely no clue about what’s going on, every loss will always be because of poor coaching. Mize has to play turnover free and simply doesn't score 25 against a decent defense in recent years. The game will be won in the last 18 minutes. Wasn’t impressed by QB or any of the athletes around him really. Defense was definitely the star of the show from the little bit I watched. In my opinion, Tville is being overhyped way too much.
