Thanks bud I appreciate it. I figured I’d get some backlash on a few things I even questioned myself. Like is Louisville worthy of being in over some higher classification schools? I took their body of work over the years of being a very consistent team into consideration as well as them being reigning champs with a lot of talent returning and their win over West Point. Another one would be me having Starkville at #3. No disrespect to the reigning champs cuz they’re a very good team who very well could move to #1 in my poll as the year goes on. Figured my main poll would be considered as north biased from some south posters cuz honestly it does come off as being so, but could be completely different next week. In the Little Ten I tossed and turned whether I should have Velma Jackson up higher as well as Scott Central. I asked myself did Noxubee deserve to be #4 just cuz they lost even though it was to Starkville cuz they’re still a very good team full of talent.

Idk if we will beat Hoover but we are good enough to have a real chance.

It’ll be tough that’s for sure, but I think it’s doable. Offensively have some playmakers at WR, a QB that can fling it and a good RB. Defensively though their line is big but looks slow. Their secondary is a weakness. Auburn killed the D on short passes and screens.

Waiting on Enterprise to chime in.

There’s no reason for him to. I watched their game against Lake. With Sims they might be a top ten team but without him they’re nowhere near one. It is what it is. I’m going off the team they currently put on the field.

Sims being out seriously lessens the chances of Enterprise winning 3a; but never count Enterprise out. We will find a way to beat Union.

Edit to change Tupelo to 1-0 after their 37-0 win tonight over Whitehaven. They took a 37-0 lead into half and that turned out to be the final score.

whitehaven was a trash excuse for a team no doubt. they have some raw talented guys but looked at times like they hadn't practiced yet. They refused to shake hands at the coin toss even. I guess that's the memphis culture being exposed........

Week 2’s will not be coming out til Sunday morning cuz I have lots of pondering and reevaluating to do between now and then after tonight’s results. One thing is for certain Oak Grove and Winona stays #1 in their polls. Lots of shakeup and new faces after that.

Don’t beat up on us too bad LOL!

@maroontide06haha it won’t be too bad cuz I don’t consider that a bad loss. Thinking maybe #5 with Madison Central jumping ahead of y’all to #4 after a more impressive win over Brandon but I do take into consideration yalls was on the road and theirs at home. I’ve got some teams I gotta look into that I don’t follow for example Gulfport.

Go check scorestream and look at the picture.  I’m certainly not trying to bring up controversy, but the picture tells a different story than that of the final score on the scoreboard.
