2023-Oxford

2025-Hattiesburg

2026-Hattiesburg

2027-Oxford

2028-Starkvegas

This would be the rotation that makes the best sense. Each hosts twice over a six year period.

I think they will give State the title games for two years if they accept before it goes back to USM

At first they gave it up and didn’t want nothing to do with it now they see the big crowds and party we put on down here in the south so they want a piece of the pie again. If Wayne County doesn’t make it I ain’t making that drive to nowhere again. The whole town was shut down when we played there and you need the Hubble telescope to see the field even from the so called good seats. Forget about seeing anything at the goal lines.

Enjoy having only a few hundred people at the games again MHSAA. Nice job.

Dub, were there any issues at USM?

As we have all noted the Rock is the best venue for the games. But if they are going to rotate it among the three campuses, then my suggestion is the only feasible way to do it.

None. And I agree about USM being the best venue. I’m saying I think that Ole Miss and State will both get two years a piece and then it will return to USM. I believe that was the original plan before Covid got involved. If I’m not mistaken.

Awfully funny I can see the laces spinning from the top of the lower deck in Hattiesburg.

Anyone that says to play the state finals in a high school stadium is not the sharpest tool in the shed and probably hasn’t seen any of the outside world beyond Puckett.

WC has always carried a crowd to the championship game. But we were once one of the best atmospheres in the state too. I’ve noticed one thing watching games around the state is crowds are down everywhere. I believe streaming games have a lot to do with that
