If hard times is equivalent to a state title drought, then go ahead and throw Enterprise Clarke in that list as well.  But wait, the title of the thread says "Traditionally strong programs", so disregard that line of thought 🤣.

Enterprise was a traditionally strong program prior to the 1990s. You dont have to win state titles to be a strong program just win consistently. Enterprise is 40-8 the past four years so Enterprise certainly is not having hard times.

Why do you keep digging your hole even further?  First of all, this is a classless thread to have even started and now you've thrown a program like South Panola under the bus.  You state, "You don't have to win state titles to be a strong program just win consistently."  If that's the case South Panola shouldn't be on your list along with probably a pile of others.

40-8 against much weaker programs that they played back in the 90s. Just coming short of being real strong team. Par for the average team.

One minute you’re dogging Jimmerson for his lack of scheduling tough opponents during the season next minute you’re bragging bout regular season record. Face it Enterprise hasn’t been relevant since the 80’s other than one year in the 90’s when it comes to being championship caliber yet you wanna make a thread like this.  Just because you bring them up constantly doesn’t mean they’re a contender.

Weak as can be prior to 1981. Two 13-0 & one 11 win season in the 80s. Not much of a consistent power house if you ask me. And yes I did look it up.

Semis 6 times, championship game 3 times in 42 seasons.

Imagine only going to the championship 3 times in 42 years and throwing a school like South Panola under the bus who has won it twice in the last 10 years. Must be nice to be going through hard times and still win 2 times in 10 years while he’s never seen his school win it once in his lifetime. Strange that he only dated it back 4 years. I guess I wouldn’t have added that 5th year either with the 1-11 record.

Enterprise has been arguably top 10 in their classification the past 4 years. 2020, 2021 teams could’ve been top 3. Sounds like some strong teams to me

Any team thats played for multiple state championships could be considered a strong program.

Traditional strong teams are those that have went 15 years plus with 10 wins or more along with deep playoff runs. Enterprise is not that team. JDC, Louisville, West Point, Brandon, Madison Central, Clinton, Wayne County, Picayune and others. Taylorsville, Bay Springs, Forest, and Scitt Central come mind.
