BubbaJ
Who do you all think are the top coaches in the state right now? I'm generally more knowledgeable on the south end of the state, so I'm going to give a few names from the south: Scott Pierson Drew Causey Jay Beech Cody Stogner (He inherited greatness, but he's done well continuing it) Blake Pennock Sam Williams
Arashatora
Ty Hardin at Tupelo comes to mind Brad Gray at Eupora, turned program around quickly

There is an argument to be made that recruiting makes the coaching easier, but they do put out a high quality product.

Lost a lot of my respect dogging Biloxi on his way out the door after not putting in any effort except to cash his (huge) check. But if the question is one of the best in MS history, he’s on the list. Edited November 14, 2022 by David

You could also argue that recruiting successfully and ensuring the league doesn’t enforce the rules against you is a part of what makes a good coach. Be like Ricky Woods, pick a spot knowing what's coming and leave before it dries up. He's a great coach but also very smart with his choices

Let's just say he said no thanks. That program has struggled for several years mainly cause they don't have the Jessie's and Joes.
