Let’s all not forget while you talk Lake up, they just lost to Sepastopol by more than Enterprise beat them by since EBF you’re a big fan of point total.

Enterprise had a dang good run defense last year that kept them in ballgames. Their secondary was suspect that cost them. This year though they haven’t been able to to stop a team’s primary RB and secondary still struggles. It’s why Lake was able to run the field and almost take the lead at the end of the game and why Boler was running over guys last week for Union and when he wasn’t Bug was hitting quick strikes. Boler having success limited in what Bug had to do at QB.

I already told you y’all better be here in Oxford come championship week. Information better be exchanged if it happens and a face to face occur.

Mize is better than Lake that’s why they’re ranked ahead of them in 2A. Lake wasn’t fast and athletic. Their QB and RB was that kept them in the ballgame. Remember I watch the games. Hopefully Miller won’t be worked as much as he was last week against Union where Union players were there working his cramps out for him until the training staff showed up.

We all know when that weather drops start of November anything can happen.

And still couldn’t stop a simple slant last Friday. Why not let chunky know that the one and only time Union went deep Enterprise’s safety got called for a hold cuz he was beat. You could tell Hickmon was limited to what he could do after Miller hit him in 2Q yet he still did what he could do on short passes. Just remember when you say Enterprise isn’t Mt. Olive the same can be said that Mize isn’t Lake.

Going home to 2-0 sure looks better than leaving 1-2. Knight def got some experience though going against IMG and Saraland. Not too many can say in a season they went against the best in FL, AL and MS.

Jefferson County def has the offense to possibly upset one of the three but question will be will their defense be able to stop any of them.

The three easy picks are Noxubee, JDC and St. Stanislaus. If I had to pick a sleeper I’d go with Jefferson County.

Yea I like watching Keegan run the ball. They got a heck of a kicker too. He broke the record for longest kick in Ripley history with a 49 yarder against Charleston.

Up north in the higher classifications there really isn’t any compelling games Friday night. I guess the biggest one would be Oxford/Grenada. Will be interesting to see how Grenada bounces back after losing to Winona. Oxford has to find a way to put a full 4 quarters together. They’ve started slow in both their first two games. Another game will be can West Point get that first win of the year against a tough Noxubee County team. The game that interest me the most that I’ll be watching is Choctaw County against Ripley. Choctaw County will be getting their first big test after 2 blowout wins and they’ll be facing a 2-0 Ripley team that has looked very impressive so far.

Im sure I’ll be long gone before MHSAA goes with instant replay. It’s already hard enough to get officials much less replay officials. I do agree with you and feel bad for yalls boys though.

I watched these two games simultaneously the other night. While Enterprise was playing the same 13-14 guys on offense and defense, Winona was bringing in almost a whole new crew for offense and defense while subbing out 2-3 guys each play. I didn’t see a single Winona player go down with cramps and 6A Grenada never wore them down like you’d think a higher class school would. Like I said that’s not a being young problem that’s a lack of depth problem Enterprise is facing this year. It’s what people have been saying on here for awhile now that Enterprise just doesn’t have the same number of athletes some of the traditionally powered 3A teams have and it’s why Coach Jimmerson is commended for the job he’s been able to do at Enterprise.

He never takes matchups into consideration either. Maybe a team’s defense struggles against the pass and lost to a passing team but with Enterprise you might see 4 passes the entire game. They were down 14 midway in the 4th to Union and still ran the ball.
