They still need OL and any Defense they can get.

Winona above Choctaw County then Union or Choctaw County 5th

Smith County Gold Balls Taylorsville 8 Mize 4 Raleigh 2 14 Total out of roughly 21 Trips to Finals

Oak Grove dropping 6A

Warren Central and West Point coaches are brothers

West Point played a weak region and playoff schedule. Not prepared. 5A South is tougher to win.

MDE did not post the data for 2024-2025 & 2025-26 school years. I believe if you wanted a guess of what your school numbers may be for 2026 you can use the 2023-2024 7th thru 9th grade numbers. I could take a look if necessary. My only interest will be the current top 10 or bottom 10 of a particular class.

The New MDE program does not post the 2025 numbers. If that continues no one will be able to look them up next year.

District 7 and 8 meetings are next week. It might too late until Spring to discuss that issue.

I will be there Saturday

Could have played today. I imagine they will play in the rain as long as no lightening and not hard enough that you can't see.

Play Sunday or Monday.

Apparently they can still go to the playoffs in 2026.

The qb threw the football at Brookhaven coach or player. He got no probation.

I am guessing they have an administrative asst.

Do diligence to see if there is interest. The interim may very well get the job. The county has a history of shifting some coaches around. However I would have to believe that coach would be the interim, or the coach at NWR/Florence if they want it.

No is the answer 1 Must be accredited by Mississippi Department of Education 2 All territory must be in Mississippi according 3.1.7 of current handbook. 3 One and two above will have to changes beginning at the district meetings and then at headquarters with appropriate committee approval. Best work fast!!

Do they want the Wing T offense?

No strictly 1A or 2A. If I am correct Simmons was in the south with 6 classifications. With 7 it will be this way from now on without consolidation. Most don't want consolidation. Money is not there for consolidation. It is needed in some Delta and Northeast Counties.

Some new rule needs to be implimented: All 2A/1A schools are combined All schools over 125 students in grades 9-11 must play football or combine for football with another county school. Then divide evenly North/South and so what if some schools play out of their class by location.

dAccording to Clarion Ledger this morning 2 players from Lamar were ejected. An assistant coach from BA and another person on the BA team were also ejected. The investigation is on going. The Lamar coach dis say a few words out of respect to the BA coach.

You have to have confidence since your on a winning streak.

I read somewhere the qb wasejected and 2 penalties against Lamar. My guess is from throwing the football in retaliation and the coach on the field. Punishment for Brookhaven is don't have a clue unless offsetting and replay the down without the starting qb.

Winona vs Aberdeen Lost 44-36 Won 42-20 Winona at Noxubee Won 31-25

5 years straight for Raleigh.
