Boy I was wrong picking this one. I knew Ocean Springs was very good.

I saw him on channel seven last week and thought damn that’s a big dude lol. He better have a decent line because with the defenses in the top four in this region he’s going to be on the run.

Coach Dolan is one of the the best defensive minds in the business. Ocean Springs is very talented on offense. I buy into defense wins championships.

This group keeps getting better and better. They had some key players return for the first time all season. The 15 points given up last night was in the second half after the starters were pulled.

I don’t have a dog in this fight at all. Yes it’s in a rules violation in their bylaws. You’re right they will not step in because of the attention it draws. But those very one’s you’re saying are pissed have been breaking those same rules for decades. Granted they don’t bring in an entire team.

These kids are not big but fast, they are usually in good position. They played a very good offensive team in George County last night,WC defense had four interceptions and a fumble recovery. This was just their second game of the season because they were virtual the first two weeks and unable to practice the first week. They were able to pick up wins over two good teams in Pascagoula and GC. Very impressed with the job the new coaching staff has done his players have bought in very well.

Slick they kept him on his horse . Their Running back #22 I believe was a good athlete

I’m not sure they have a very good football team. Their skilled players are very good.

Slick is right WC has good kids they will give you everything they have. This year size is not on our side. We have big kids coming but not this season. But these guys have heart. George County usually has some big kids. I hear they are very good at the skilled positions.

People don’t realize WC played on about five days practice after being virtual. In those few day our entire team wasn’t there very often. They played last night down a few including their best defensive lineman. I was really worried about fatigue late but the guys gutted it out. I know it’s one game but I believe we’re moving in the right direction.

I really thought fatigue would catch up with the kids. They showered a lot of heart and we’re still down a few guys including our best defensive lineman

I don’t have a problem with it only because those kids would has lost 2020 if it had not been for GCS. There school had canceled the season I think I read. If I’m wrong someone please correct me I don’t mind I’m 56 years old I’m a big boy lol. But you point about schools not picking up entire starting lineups is true. It’s usually a few players here and there.

Most private schools and if we’re being honest a lot of public schools recruit players. Most of your biggest power house Private Schools will target 5-6 kids at a young age every year. They move them up through their program and when they graduate you have the next class move through. That’s why the same schools are playing deep in the playoffs every season. It’s been going on for years.

We will lineup and give 100% the down time will hurt for sure but hey we’re not the only one dealing with that problem. You guys know better than most because y’all were virtual as well. I know we always enjoy playing you guys and hope we can keep the series going. Not sure what we may look like Friday but we will be fine going into region play. On a side note please keep one of our starting offensive linemen and his family in your prayers as they lay his father to rest today. He was a big part of our community and will be missed.
