  1. That would qualify pancho as a professional sports reporter then.
  2. This Egg Bowl had a lot going on. From the bye week for both leading up to it, to the locker room break in, to the fight and Selmon having words with Kiffin, to Kiffin searching out a “reporter” after it was over. Congrats on an unreal season for OM. It was a shame there was so much drama at the end.
  3. Still sounds like Kiffin just hasn’t made his mind up. I expect OM to win easily and help make his decision easy - stay at OM and make a run. However if they’re in a close game or somehow State upsets them (just don’t see either), he could throw the team under the bus and leave.
  4. What are the scenarios for the SECCG? I believe of Bama and A&M win they’re in? I think we will have four 7-1 teams. I’m picking Texas to upset A&M. Not sure who goes in that scenario.
  5. Makes you question Jans ability to evaluate the portal talent. To be as bad as they have been defensively the last two years compared to his teams over his whole career, it’s surprising.
  6. Now that a lot of OM fans have calmed down, they look at Carter’s statement as a positive and sign Kiffin is staying. They believe the extension has been signed and the delay in announcing is to cost LSU valuable time in finding a new coach. At least that’s what the ones on Twitter that were calling for Kiffin to be locked out of the Manning Center this afternoon are now saying.
  7. I can see him carrying the water bottles to the huddle during a timeout at Davis Wade.
  8. It seems as though he is leaving because why not announce to the world (recruits) that’s he’s staying now. However, that still gives everyone a full week and one day to talk about it. More importantly though, for OM fans, a chance for him to change his mind. If it’s even made up.
  9. I don’t have any inside information, but I honestly think Kiffin just can’t make his mind up. Does he love the attention? Absolutely. I think he really wants to try a program like LSU. I also think he really wants to see where he can take OM. I don’t think he’s intentionally playing games. If he is, dude is an ass and just as good at being one as he is at coaching. Did anyone see the post Desmond Howard made about Texas being open after the season? A mutual parting of ways? That’s pretty crazy to be throwing out things like that when you’re on tv like he is each week. That would be a job I could see Kiffin taking so someone better lock him up with a huge buyout soon.
  10. I just saw a clip of the show today. It seemed kind of uncomfortable. Of course when you’re being asked questions by McAfee and then can’t get a word in it is a little odd. Still don’t know who the hell Theo Vonn is and haven’t really wanted to look it up.
  11. I haven’t been on as much this year, and I haven’t watched as much ball. Based on absolutely nothing I don’t think Kiffin is leaving OM this year, but damn has this been weird. I don’t read twitter for anything other than entertainment, but Kiffin to LSU because his son is getting an NIL deal from a high school school in Baton Rouge tops them all.
  12. Big win for Georgia, but what Kiffin has done at OM is amazing. They’re a playoff contender and SECC contender as long as he’s there. Giving UGA all they can handle on the road, and they more than likely are at worst a 10-2 team.
  13. I haven’t kept up with much this year except final scores and the standings. OM looked really good yesterday though, and if they can get good outings by their starters they can be dangerous. Good bullpen and lots of power at the plate. Vandy is helping them out this morning, so if they win today a host spot looks probable.
  14. 58.2% from the field and 57.9% from three. That will beat anyone in the tournament.
  15. They’re looking even better the second half. OM is gelling at the right time.
  16. That was a huge three by Pedulla. If UNC had got a stop there it would have been anyone’s game. I think OM has a good chance to advance. Iowa State looked pretty good in the first game, but they had been inconsistent to end the season.
  17. If OM does win, they have a matchup with a 3 seed that’s not playing nearly as well as they were earlier in the season.
  18. At 28-4, I would have put Florida at the overall one. It’s crazy Auburn gets it losing three of the last four. It will be interesting to see how the SEC fares in the first round and on into the tourny. One of the ESPN guys made an interesting point during the SECT. He said that how physical the SEC was may come back to hurt them because what the officials let play in SEC games will get called in the NCAAT
  19. Win immediately is the only answer, but what they’ve shown so far this season that’s unlikely. Throw out the Covid year and this is his sixth season. He’s had two great seasons, two horrible seasons and one okay. Is that what State should be happy with?
  20. As of tonight Lunardi didn’t have a change to his prediction with State. 9 seed matched up with UConn and Duke of they win. OMs bracket did change up a little. He had them paired with 3 seed Iowa State now, and Bama the two instead of Auburn. I know he is really accurate about who makes the tourny, but I’m not sure how accurate he is with the placement of teams. That a lot to get right. lol
  21. And they don’t have to participate in a play in game. Both being comfortably in, and State making their third straight trip is not the norm.
  22. State dropping 4 of 5, I believe, to end the season after beating A&M and OM. Three to teams they had no business losing to and giving up around 95/game. Expect one and done in both tourneys left. It’s hard to believe a Jans coached team is so bad on defense.
  23. I know we had the discussion in football about HAVING to play in the SECCG, but man if I was some of the top teams, I’d hate to get wore down playing in this tournament because it’s going to be a battle.
